A little bit about us

We have a sweet baby boy who just turned 6 months. Me and my husband work from home. I work part time but have some days where I’m very busy. We need someone to entertain him during those days and babysit for date nights every so often. We want someone who he has the chance to know very well as he is very attached to us at the moment and has a little bit of separation anxiety.

A little bit about us

We are looking for a loving and compassionate individual to be a part of our village!
We are a combined family with 2 kiddos. A 1 year old little boy and a newborn baby girl.
We'd love someone who is active and enjoys taking the kids for walks, to the park, library, and on other adventures. What is most important is that we find someone who genuinely enjoys babies and doesn't mind having to hold them and provide comfort through out the majority of the day.
We'd love someone with a knowledge of child development to help our babies grow cognitively, physically, and emotionally.
We do require an up to date CPR certification.

We are looking for someone who can provide 3 days per week and an occasional Saturday. Typically 8 hours each day.
Responsibilities are mainly focused on caring for the babies. We won't ask you to clean, run errands or do any chores that don't have something to do with care for our kiddos.
We do want someone who is comfortable with large dogs, as we do have 2 large dogs in the home, but we try to keep them separate from the babies to minimize stress on both the pups and babies.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Ogden, UT

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Ogden, UT

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Ogden, UT? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
