A little bit about us

We have a 2 month old daughter, Pippa, who is going to need 2 day a week nanny care starting asap and we need care for two children 1 day a week when we both go back to work. We are hoping nanny care can take place at our home, at our place of business or at our local recreational spot, as needed. We are needing Tuesdays and Thursdays from 7:30am-4:30pm with occasional weekend nights (probably one per quarter). would love if you could clean baby bottles, tidy around the kitchen and occasionally do some washing clothes to help us out.
We have a huge back yard to play in the sun, we encourage walks around our neighborhood, have lots of books to read and fun toys to play with. We would love to meet you!

A little bit about us

My husband and I work from home working between the hours of ~7am and ~4pm, so we would always be around. We can stagger our work hours a bit for some flexibility. We have a husky and a chihuahua dachshund, as well as 2 cats in the home. May be asked to drop off/pickup our 4 year old from part day preschool. He has been in full-time daycare since he was 12 weeks old, so this would be a switch for him to part-time preschool.

A little bit about us

Looking for a part time nanny to help my husband with our son (Luke) 2 days a week. I will be out of the home Thursdays and Fridays starting in early December, and my husband will be working from home most weeks, but will need to be on site every so often. We are looking for someone who loves animals, is patient and helpful. Preferably someone who wouldn't mind helping with some light house keeping and meal prep (negotiable). Payment is also negotiable. I will be interviewing with my husband before we hire anyone. Hope to hear from you soon!

A little bit about us

Hi! We are new to the area and are excited to work with someone who will help with our little ones! We have a 4 year old little boy and a 10 month old girl. We are looking for part time care as I work remotely and can handle half of the day alone; somewhere between 15-20 hours/week, M-F would be ideal. No pick up or drop off necessary at this time, no housework, pet care, or errands . Just be at the house with me and our babies! We are a lesbian couple with multiracial children, so cultural competence is a must.

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Puyallup, WA

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Puyallup, WA

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Puyallup, WA? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
