A little bit about us

Hello! My name is Erin. My husband and I have a 6 month old son and a 5 1/2 year old son who is in kindergarten. I am a Realtor in WY and CO which means that I work somewhat flexible hours and I often travel to the Denver Metro to meet with clients. I am hoping to find help watching my 6 month old 2-3 days a week (possibly more) and I am flexible regarding days and hours. Although it would be ideal to have childcare from about 8-9am to 3-4pm but this is not a requirement. I would prefer it to be in my home, but I’m open to outside my home for the right fit. If it is in my home, the candidate must be fine with a Pet-friendly home as we have a dog and cat. I am open to a nanny share as well.

A little bit about us

We are busy but fun family of lots of little boys! My boys are awesome sweet kids. We have one dog who is mostly good but occasionally get a wild hair to do something naughty. I work nights and my husband is currently on days. We could use a little help in the mornings so I can sleep or get a nap in the afternoon. The job would mostly be feeding kids and entertaining them for a few hours. Any extra help with dishes or laundry would always be appreciated but not expected. We are pretty flexible as far as hours and days. My schedule fluctuates a lot but I would be willing to set a schedule so that you could have some consistency.

A little bit about us

I am going through a divorce and my soon to be ex is not very involved in the lives of the children. My parents live close by and they are very involved in our lives. They have been helping out with the kids and the house quite a bit and they need a break so I am hoping to get some help watching the kids a few times a week while I do errands. My youngest is a wiggle worm who is an escape artist. She is very active but responds well to soothing and calm engagement. My oldest is a sweetheart who loves playing with stuffed lovies. I am not working so I have a lot of flexibility with my schedule and can adapt to meet the needs of a caregiver. We appreciate the help and are excited to welcome you into our little family!

How to Find an Infant Care Job in Cheyenne, WY

If you’re looking for an infant nanny job, you’ve come to the right place! We can help you find an infant care job in your area. Start by telling families about yourself in your profile, and then chat with families to find the right fit. When you think you’ve found the right match, you can turn the discussion towards compensation and responsibilities.

What is an Infant Nanny in Cheyenne, WY

An infant nanny is a nanny that specializes in caring for newborns. They are skilled in diapering and providing care for any rashes, swaddling, bathing, feeding, and burping. Some infant nannies further specialize in care for premature newborns or multiples.

Preparing for a Nanny Interview for an Infant Care Position

Once you start connecting with prospective employers, the next step is an infant nanny job interview. Here is a list of some infant nanny interview questions to prepare for:

  • What is your specific experience with this age group?
  • Are you Infant CPR/First Aid certified in Cheyenne, WY? Are you willing to be trained?
  • How do you handle a crying baby?
  • How often do you usually offer parents updates during the day?
  • What do you feed an infant? At 0-3 months? 3-6 months? 6-9 months? 9-12 months?
  • How do you set up the infant’s crib for a nap?
  • What kind of activities will you plan to engage my baby?

You should be prepared with your references for past nanny jobs, and ideally, past infant jobs. Prior to the infant nanny interview, be sure to think about questions that you might have for the family. This is a great time to ask questions about the responsibilities and compensation for the infant nanny position. To make sure everyone has a shared understanding of the role and responsibilities, we recommend asking for a job offer or a nanny contract. By doing this, you can get off on the right foot with your future employer.
