A little bit about me
Let me go back a few years and give you a brief history about myself. I was the baby of three kids which meant I had to hit up the neighborhood so that I could babysit. I did that most weekends and a lot of summers, minus one summer due to being a junior counselor at a summer camp. After graduating high school I enrolled in college with a liberal studies/music major so that I could become a teacher. Three years of college and one year of marriage my husband and I discovered I was pregnant. Let’s just say life happened and I soon became a single mom. Foolishly I never returned to school. Years flew by consumed with birthdays, school, hockey, soccer, guitar, sleepovers and more. My house became the home for many teenage boys congregated at causing me to restock my extra freezer every other weekend. Fast forward many more years and I am a proud nanny to two wonderful grandkids.
I have always enjoyed being around kids of all ages. I came from a generation that babysitting wasn’t just caring for the child. Once kids were fed and bathed and lay down for the night I made sure dishes were washed and put away, laundry was the least folded and put into piles and the house itself was tidied up before the parents returned home. The more I am able to help you gives you that much more time you can spend with your kiddos. They say it takes a village to raise a child, I’m right here and ready to help . I hope I get a chance to speak with you and see if we might be a good fit for each other. In the meantime have a fabulous day!
