A little bit about me

As a mother of a 3 month old I can understand how hard it may be to find a suitable person to not only take care of your house hold but your family. Though I may not have professional experience in daycares or schools I have had a lot of personal experience with kids from the ages of 0-6 years of age.
When I babysit kids I like to go out of my way and try to play activity games to help them become coordinated with their movements. Teach colors, numbers and shapes through arts and crafts. As well as read stories and listen to music to help open their imaginations.
When infants or toddlers are acting out of sorts I always find that being patient, kind, and loving are the best ways to help sooth them, make them feel they are being listened to, and can even help them discover other ways of expressing themselves.
I also have been trained to clean houses professionally with natural supplements at the company MaidIt.

A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Alexis. I love children and love any chance I get to work with them. I recently moved back to Colorado Springs for my husbands job. When we lived here before I was preschool teacher. Before that I was with a family I nannied for, for over 2 years and was so sad to leave them. I have spent my whole life working with children, whether through children's camps, nannying, soccer coaching, or teaching. Some non-kid related things about me: I am 27 years old, I am married, we have one cat and are getting a puppy in April, I love anything that has to do with the outdoors. I am hoping to find a new family to work for here in colorado! Can’t wait to hear from you :)
