A little bit about me

I have been living in NYC for almost one year working as an Au Pair taking care of two girls (8 and 10 years old) I decided that because is what I have wanted to do for a long time, so it is very important for me. The reason why I would like to be an au pair is because I love children. Children are the most beautiful thing in the world. I love spending time with children and learning everything they can teach me every day. They learn a lot from us, but we learn more from them than we think.

I have many different hobbies like playing field hockey and swimming, fashion, cooking, reading, dancing and music. I like shopping, hanging out with my friends and going out with them, going bike riding, running, going to the gym and to the cinema. I love traveling, meeting new people, learning about new cultures and lifestyles.

I have experience looking after children aged from 2 to 11 years old, girls and boys. In 2016 I worked in the summer in the sports club in Argentina taking care of a group of children who were between 2 and 11 years old. The experience was great. We used to have lunch and afternoon snack together, go to the pool and play in the playground. In addition, I used to help them to get dressed.

Later, in 2015 I looked after Sofía for 6 years old. She was 4 years old. We used to have breakfast and lunch together. We used to make cookies because she liked to cook with me. We also read books and we played games with her toys in the garden and in the park.

Also, in the summer of 2014 I looked alter Lucía and Maria when they were 2 years old and 8 months. I used to help them to get dressed and we would have breakfast together. We used to go to the swimming pool, play in the garden and the park and go for walks.

I consider myself a kind, sweet, friendly and funny person. I am a very responsible and hardworking girl.

A little bit about me

Hello! My name is Danielle Fogelson, and I am an upcoming senior in college majoring in psychology. I have taken a special interest in child psychology and child development throughout my studies. I began working with children as an occasional babysitter when I was 12 years old and continued to do so after that. I nannied part time during my senior year of high school for three boys (ages 2mo, 3yr, and 6yr). I also volunteered in a pre-K classroom that year. After high school I spent two summers as a camp counselor at an overnight camp in Northern Wisconsin. I cared for the emotional and physical needs of several campers and implemented programs during those eight-week periods. I spent this last summer as a part time nanny. I cared for six boys (ages 2, 4, 6, 7, 10, and 12) several days per week. While I am at college I work in a child psychology research lab, where I interact with children on a weekly basis. I will also be working in a research lab part time this summer where I will be working with adolescent populations. I am looking to nanny on the days I will not be in my research lab. I will have full time availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
