A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Maddi and I am a student at Southern Oregon University. For two years, I was a preschool teacher's assistant and it was so rewarding to work with children, and I'd love to continue throughout my journey in college. I love to find new projects and games to keep the children having fun and find ways to incorporate learning within that. I do well in high-stress situations and with juggling multiple children at a time, along with being patient and loving.

A little bit about me

I am an experienced babysitter and nanny with over 10 years of experience- I started at age 11! I have cared for over 20 families around the country and world as I have traveled quite a bit and now I'm in Ashland as a Psychology student at SOU. I enjoy yoga, hiking, painting, and rockclimbing. I am energetic and playful- able to keep up with energetic kids and I am also gentle, responsible, and loving. I love to do crafts, adventures, and reading with kids and I can really whip up some yummy and healthy meals! I am looking for a part time position-preferably late afternoons/evenings or early mornings up until 10am and I can do weekends!

Recent reference

"Elizabeth was an amazing summer babysitter/nanny to my two grade school children (ages 7 and 10)! She consistently showed up to work on time, was easy to communicate with, and was always quick to let me know if any scheduling conflicts arose. She was great about all the routine day-to-day stuff as well such as making sure the kids had healthy meals, had sunscreen on, made it to sports activities on time, etc. Most importantly - my kids absolutely LOVED spending time with her. Elizabeth is not one of those babysitters who sits on their phone all day - she is 100% out playing with the kids and coming up with fun ideas for an adventure. Many forts were made, movies produced, rocks jumped off of, bowling pins knocked down, and parks visited while she babysat my kids. She was with us in the height of COVID and my 7 year old daughter said, at the end of summer 2020, that "one of the best silver linings of COVID is that we got to spend the summer with Elizabeth!" Highly recommend her!"

A little bit about me

My name is Alex, I am 35 years old and I am originally from Bend, Oregon. I recently moved to Grants pass, Oregon after spending 3 years in Indiana while my husband attended grad school. I'm so happy to be back in beautiful Oregon where I get to be close to family and the mountains. My favorite things are outdoor activities, reading, taking walks and trying new recipes. With over 10 years experience in the childcare field I feel that I have gained excellent childcare experience with children of all ages. I simply love children and enjoy helping them learn and grow at every stage of their young lives. My strengths as a nanny are that I am very responsible, reliable and caring person. I believe that part of my role as a nanny is to bring my experience to the table and shape it to match the specific needs of each family. I am passionate about furthering my time in the Nanny field so that I can continue doing what I love and broadening my experiences.
