A little bit about me
I am a college graduate from DePaul University with two sisters aged 4 and 6 who I have played a large role in raising from birth. I additionally was a long term nanny for two children who no longer are at an age where they require care.
I have extensive experience working within my community and volunteered for many years through Big Brothers Big Sisters, mentoring special needs children.
I am very passionate about child development and wholeheartedly believe that reading, writing and singing to children is so crucial in aiding their growth and communication skills. I love working on crafts and science projects with my two young sisters, and work to also promote strong emotional support. Mental health is a topic I care deeply about and something I feel we do not look at enough when wondering how to best help support our young ones. Therefore I feel that instilling confidence, curiosity and empathy at an early age is crucial in helping children grow up healthy and happy.
I live in Elmhurst off of St. Charles Road and would love to set up an interview if you're interested. Looking forward to hearing from you!
