A little bit about us…

Looking for a full time nanny for just over a month while recovering from surgery. My 2 older children (11-Aiden, and 7-Liam) would need transportation to and from school on some days and then the day would be spent with my 2 younger children (1 year Connor and a 2 month old name Lucas). I will be home most of the time with you but can not lift the babies at all until the surgeon clears me. I will require some light housekeeping/meal prep and child care. We do have a dog named duke. He is the sweetest Golden and wont require anything. We would need help from 630am-530pm Monday-Friday. We are happy to negotiate pricing for this job and appreciate the help during this period.

A little bit about us…

I have two amazing boys, ages 6 and 10, in south Boulder. They love sports, playing with their friends in the neighborhood, being outdoors, swimming, hiking and playing games or doing activities inside as well. I am looking for a fun and caring nanny for them on set days, 2-3 days per week, for 20-35 hours per week. These days will be 10 hour days on Monday, Tuesday and every other Friday with an hour or two of help on Wednesday mornings. I will guarantee hours, even during the kids school time.
Responsibilities will mainly include caring for the children and focusing on their needs along with some light child-oriented house chores. It will require pick up and drop off at their local school during the school year. There are no pets to care for in the house.
Our house is one with lots of play and laughter and a goal of everyone being safe, comfortable and happy!

Types of Nanny Jobs and Nanny Responsibilities in Colorado

Before you start looking for a nanny job, it's essential to learn about the different types of nannies and how they compare to each other so that you make sure you’re looking for the right opportunities.

The different types of nanny jobs have different nanny responsibilities. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. However, in general, a nanny is responsible for making sure the children's needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to make sure your expectations are aligned with the family.

There are temporary nanny jobs, even seasonal nanny jobs like summer nanny jobs. Beyond seasonal and temporary nanny positions, there are differences between full-time and part-time nanny jobs. The primary difference being the number of hours you spend at your nanny job every week. For full-time nannies, there are options for live in nanny positions and live-out positions in Colorado. Live-out positions are more common, but each family has their own set of needs that require different types of care, and live in nanny positions can be exactly what some families want. If you're looking to explore live in nanny positions, it's even more important to create a shared set of expectations around hours, responsibilities, and what is expected of you when you're not on the clock.

If you're exploring other types of jobs beyond nanny positions, consider looking into cleaning jobs, pet sitting jobs, luxury fashion jobs, or elder care jobs.
