A little bit about me
My name is Diana, I’m 20 years old and I have been taking care of my nephews ages 8 and 4 since they have been born! I work with the kids one on one to develop strong independent skills, teaching them breathing exercises to calm down and to be able to express themselves thoroughly.
I love animals so working alongside them is no problem , they will be more nannies to take care of your sweet angels :)
I help the oldest with zoom classes and play along with the youngest, making sure to see that beautiful smile by going along with his crazy little stories.
I currently attend Western Illinois University and majoring in forensic psychology alongside a criminal justice minor. If you have any questions at all please shoot me a message !
I would love to get to know you and your wonderfully family !

A little bit about me
I’m a patient, dependable, and caring person who enjoys creating fun, age-appropriate activities while also keeping children on consistent routines. I love reading, playing, doing arts and crafts, getting outside, and finding simple ways to make everyday activities fun and engaging for children.
My experience as a lead teacher has taught me how important it is to be attentive to children’s individual needs, communicate with families, maintain a safe and organized environment, and create a day that is both structured and enjoyable.
I would love the opportunity to bring my childcare experience into a family’s home and provide their child with the same patience, attention, and care I’ve given the children I’ve worked with throughout my career.

A little bit about me
My name is Danielle Blasco and I’m currently going into my senior year at Lipscomb University, in Nashville Tennessee. I absolutely adore kids and I have a lot of experience with them. I worked as a camp counselor last summer and I also have had multiple nanny jobs with kids of all ages. I also have experience with newborns and infants as I worked at KinderCare a couple summers ago five days a week. I’m preferably looking for a regular nanny job this summer but I’m open to babysitting jobs here and there as well. :)

Understand Nanny Responsibilities in West Chicago, IL
Before beginning the search for a nanny, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a nanny is the right choice for your child care needs. In hiring a nanny, first, you should think through what responsibilities you expect your nanny to handle. With that information, you can create a profile so that nannies can reach out to you. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your nanny before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location can impact how much you should pay your nanny.
West Chicago Nanny Interviews
Once you start connecting with prospective nannies, the next step is a nanny interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some nanny interview questions to consider asking:
- Do you have experience being a nanny?
- How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
- What sort of household tasks are you open to doing?
- Are you open to a live in arrangement in West Chicago? Do you have experience being a live in nanny?
- Are you open to being a nanny in a nanny share?
- Do you have any references?
- Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in West Chicago?
- Do you have a driver’s license in IL? Do you own a car?
- What salary are you seeking? Are you open to being paid through direct-deposit, pay stubs?
- What are your expectations around over-time pay and vacation time?
During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references, and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a prospective nanny, it’s essential to make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around nanny responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming! Daycare vs. Hiring a Nanny
Choosing between putting your child in daycare and hiring a nanny can be a tough decision. While nannies are often more expensive, they provide individualized attention and flexibility.
