Came to America employment with an agency for 1 year contract... The family was residing in Princton Nj. During this time I found the love of my life and married in 2001... I am still happily married with two children. One daughter who just celebrated her 10th birthday and one very active soon to be 8 year old son. After completing my year with the family I moved to a wonderful family in Hillsborough and became their full time nanny , friend and part of their family for almost 6 years .. this ended when the boys were starting a school schedule that they both didn’t need me and we are still family to this day. I then worked as an assistant to a local eye care studio based in Hillsborough until I left to bacon full time stay at home mom

I have a lot of experience in babysitting over the past three years but am now looking for a summer nanny/childcare position. I have experience caring for a mildly autistic child who really enjoyed my company. I have ordered and prepared lunches and dinners during my past shifts as a babysitter. I also have experience getting children ready for bed and making sure they are in bed on time and ready for the next days activities. I am very interested in personal health and fitness so I love outdoor activities and playing sports with children. I also enjoy coloring and doing crafts with children as well. I love to help with any work or homework the children have and have some experience as a tutor for third grade students. I have a license and have a car available for rides to day camps, swim lessons or day trips. I love animals and have many years of experience caring for pets as well. If you are looking for help with childcare or need a nanny for the summer please contact me by phone or email. I available to start working June 6th through August 18th and can work any time of the day. Thank you for your time and I look forward to talking with you!

I was an associate teacher in the toddler room at thefor 2 years. I babysat many children from the day care on weekends, and overnight on occasion, when needed. Now i am currently a live out full time nanny watching aI am currently a live-out full-time nanny watching two children, ages 4 and 7. Plus, my own 2-year-old and 5-month-old come with me, Monday-Friday, 7:40 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. and some days, until 5:15 p.m. or until I am needed. I also babysit some weekends for them. I have been a nanny for this family for more than 3 years. Since the mom is a teacher she has summers off, and won't be needing me in mid June. Also, the soon to be 5-year-old little girl will be starting Kindergarten full time in September, and the family will no longer need a Nanny, since both kids will be in school all day. I will be leaving them on great terms and will be available in mid June. Before this family i watched a 15 month little girl mon -fri 615 am- 7pm.I have been with this family since last dec. and started when she was only 4 months old. Reason for leaving this summer is due to them having another baby and no longer needing a nanny. I left them on GREAT terms and still keep in contact for the kids birthday partys:) Also I was a live out nanny watching an 18 month old girl. I have been with her since she was 2 months old. Working 730am-530pm Mon-Fri. My daily routine would be feeding her breakfast, lunch, bathing, getting her dressed, taking her to activities, play dates, doctors appointments, etc. also child related chores around the house (Baby's Laundry, Washing bottles, 'sippy' cups). I also worked with this family for over a year and left on great terms. Left due to the family putting there child in daycare through there company. I was also a live in nanny for a family in Short Hills, NJ for 3 1/2 years watching 3 children 6am-7pm Mon-Fri. I'm Looking for the right family to start with asap.. I'm extremely compatible with all children, and have dealt with keeping individual kids on specific diets and routines that may differ from their siblings diets or routines (especially ALLERGIES, or any other food restrictions you may have). I strive to teach your child to grow without pushing my own views or religious beliefs and will fully respect you and your child.

Understand Nanny Responsibilities in Hillsborough Township, NJ

Before beginning the search for a nanny, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a nanny is the right choice for your child care needs. In hiring a nanny, first, you should think through what responsibilities you expect your nanny to handle. With that information, you can create a profile so that nannies can reach out to you. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your nanny before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location can impact how much you should pay your nanny.

Hillsborough Township Nanny Interviews

Once you start connecting with prospective nannies, the next step is a nanny interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some nanny interview questions to consider asking:

  • Do you have experience being a nanny?
  • How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
  • What sort of household tasks are you open to doing?
  • Are you open to a live in arrangement in Hillsborough Township? Do you have experience being a live in nanny?
  • Are you open to being a nanny in a nanny share?
  • Do you have any references?
  • Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Hillsborough Township?
  • Do you have a driver’s license in NJ? Do you own a car?
  • What salary are you seeking? Are you open to being paid through direct-deposit, pay stubs?
  • What are your expectations around over-time pay and vacation time?

During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references, and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a prospective nanny, it’s essential to make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around nanny responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming! And of course, as you learn how to hire a nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help you along the way.
