A little bit about me

Hello Families I am seeking a part Time role as I'm currently working at a preschool but we have 2 week break during December 22nd through January 5th. So I really need something to do during those dates

I am 18 years old, graduated from high-school. And currently in my 3rd year of bible college.

I've been babysitting since I was 12 yrs old.

*JOB EXPERIENCE* I worked at a daycare in 2023 for about six months, and was a teacher for six 1year olds. And also worked for a family in the summer of 2024 and was a mom's assistant. I did all the cleaning, Laundry, dishes, organization, and etc as well as took care of their house, dog and chickens while they went to visit family out of state.

I love to cook, clean, do laundry and etc. Whatever is needed around the house.

I am cpr and first aid certified and have my 45 hrs DCF training.

"I cannot say enough good things about the way Irene cares for my children and home when she's here. She will exceed your expectations in every area, and a work ethic like hers, along side a genuine love for children is truly hard to find. Irene is engaged and caring, punctual, responsive, consistent, great with responsibilities like cooking/cleaning, and oh so kind! Your children will be begging for her to come back!"

A little bit about me

Hi!I’m Mia, officially out of the homeschool house in September2023 right now in my community college I’m between trade school and cosmetology, so majoring in business until I decide which to pursue first and with a 5 year old brother I have felt I’ve done a great deal in raising! He’s most the time at school now, and otherwise i’m taking him around to karate or something he just likes to do if he’s not home sick, which isn’t often but kid germs are a different breed of tough to beat when it happens :(! I do have a lot of helpful gadgets kept thoroughly clean from when he was littler to prevent choking, prepared carekits, etc. I completely wouldn’t mind bringing around if approved! I’d like to highlight that it would be super awesome for my brother if he could have a possible buddy-up out of the time I’m sitting if the situation is right and everyone is comfortable of course!oh&love cooking!

A little bit about me

Hi! I believe children are the heartbeat of a better world. They require a tremendous amount of love and care. I have always held a strong passion for childcare and have worked in multiple childcare settings, including as a substitute teacher in the LA county school system. I have nannied two children as infants all the way through their toddlerhood. Strong responsibility can be learned, but innate wisdom and a motherly instinct cannot. I have all three.

Understand Nanny Responsibilities in Pensacola, FL

Before beginning the search for a nanny, it’s important to understand what you’re looking for and if a nanny is the right choice for your child care needs. In hiring a nanny, first, you should think through what responsibilities you expect your nanny to handle. With that information, you can create a profile so that nannies can reach out to you. The boundaries for nannies duties vary from family to family. In general, a nanny is responsible for making sure your children’s needs are met, including things like ensuring they have opportunities to play and be active. When tasks go beyond child care, for example, housekeeping or meal preparation, it’s good practice to communicate these expectations with your nanny before hiring them. Along with the different duties that you ask for, experience and location can impact how much you should pay your nanny.

Pensacola Nanny Interviews

Once you start connecting with prospective nannies, the next step is a nanny interview. To make things a bit easier, here’s a list of some nanny interview questions to consider asking:

  • Do you have experience being a nanny?
  • How do you handle tantrums? Can you share an experience disciplining children?
  • What sort of household tasks are you open to doing?
  • Are you open to a live in arrangement in Pensacola? Do you have experience being a live in nanny?
  • Are you open to being a nanny in a nanny share?
  • Do you have any references?
  • Are you trained in First Aid or CPR in Pensacola?
  • Do you have a driver’s license in FL? Do you own a car?
  • What salary are you seeking? Are you open to being paid through direct-deposit, pay stubs?
  • What are your expectations around over-time pay and vacation time?

During the hiring process, it’s essential to ask for references, and by asking their references questions you gain a better understanding of they will fit in your family. As you get closer to hiring a nanny, be sure to run a background check to ensure your kids are in good hands. When evaluating a prospective nanny, it’s essential to make sure you’re setting the foundation for a good relationship with your nanny. You can do this by being clear about your expectations around nanny responsibilities and compensation, and of course, by being friendly and welcoming! And of course, as you learn how to hire a nanny, Nanny Lane's nanny services are here to help

Daycare vs. Hiring a Nanny

Choosing between putting your child in daycare and hiring a nanny can be a tough decision. While nannies are often more expensive, they provide individualized attention and flexibility. Daycares, on the other hand, prioritize socialization. Our Nanny vs Daycare guide can help you determine what's best for your family.
