Admittedly, we have a difficult 1-year old who needs more attention than most childcare can provide. It would be 40- hrs a week M-F. We’d like to share with one other family with 1-2 children. About our son: Our son is sweet, goofy, sensitive and very active. He loves being outside in all weather (must love wandering around, playgrounds, and stroller walks), balls, blocks, trucks, books, and vacuuming (yes, vacuuming).
Our son has several food allergies. Must be comfortable administering EpiPen or other allergy medication and minimizing exposure/contact to known allergens.
About our space: We have multiple indoor play areas, a large backyard that opens up to a park/playground, and close access to the Highline Canal trail plus several very close libraries.
About us: Both parents mostly work from home. While we plan to engage with our baby throughout the day and will try to eat lunch with him, we will also be in separate workspaces and out of your hair! We have one dog - must be comfortable around pets.
About you/the position: We are looking for someone to become a member of our family with a year long commitment (or more!). CPR certification, EpiPen administration, up to date vaccines, understanding of secure attachments, and ability to work through intentional transitions are a must! Comfort with coordinating with mom for breastfeeding and contact napping/baby snuggles are also required. We are seeking 20-24 hours of care per week on M, T, Th between 8 am - 5 pm with guaranteed hours, PTO, and holidays. I have three children: a newborn, a 2.5 year old, and a 4 year old. We have two small dogs. I am looking for a full time nanny to build a partnership and long lasting relationship with. I am looking for someone to work 30-40 hours a week. I need a nanny to help Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays and one to two Saturdays a month from 8:00am-6:00pm. My schedule is somewhat flexible. My daughter can get anxious with new people and changes. I am looking for someone who is calm and patient. I’m looking for someone who can do light housekeeping around the house when they have time or during nap time such as loading the dishwasher, sweeping after the children, making them meals and starting a load of their laundry.
