Our son is super cheerful, curious, affectionate, and social. He loves toy cars, music, books, and going outside. He has developmental delays — eg. he is not verbal and not able to walk yet. He is about 33 lbs and will require some carrying / lifting to be transferred to certain areas of the house.
Some qualities we seek in a nanny:
Loves children and is invested in their development
Attention to detail and high quality of completing responsibilities
Highly organized
Cleanliness / Tidyness without direction
Time management of completing/prioritizing multiple responsibilities in a day
Positive attitude and energy, and engages enthusiastically with child
Keep and manage child’s schedule (meals, naps, appointments etc) and adjust timing and routine as needed with unexpected circumstances

The specific hours I require assistance are on Saturdays and Sundays from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm, as well as Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 3:30 pm to around 8:00-8:30 pm. If my son is fortunate enough to be accepted into the school program we desire, the weekday evening hours may shift to approximately 4:30/5:00 pm - 8:00/8:30 pm.
Allow me to introduce my beloved son, Malakai. He is a remarkable 3 1/2-year-old boy, overflowing with brightness, affection, and creativity. Although he received an Autism diagnosis last year, I am in the process of seeking a re-evaluation because he no longer exhibits many of the initial signs. His speech, once delayed, has made significant strides since around February of this year, and there has been a noticeable reduction in behavioral and sensory challenges. While transitions still pose occasional difficulties, the past two months have shown remarkable improvement.
Malakai’s interests are as diverse as his personality, including a profound love for trains, space, the exploratorium, outdoor adventures, and water play. He is a spirited and inquisitive child, and I am searching for a caregiver who can embrace his unique qualities and continue to nurture his growth and development.
If you feel a connection to our story and believe that you could be the support we need, I would be deeply grateful for the opportunity to connect with you.
