A little bit about me

I am a mother to a wonderful 6yo and I have had a significant amount of experience with children through time volunteering at my churches over the years and just being there for friends and family to care for their children. So although much of my experience is unpaid, I still have the knowledge. Ive been CPR and First Aide trained before but said no as I do not know if they are recent enough. Last did infant CPR in October 2018.
I love being hands on and screen free. I love exploring interests and supporting milestone building. I am educated in Occupational Therapy with a psychology minor. I did take child development courses in high school and with college I took child psychology and also several pediactric courses with the OT focus. Play is so important to learning and I enjoy fostering a nurturing and positive atmosphere for learning and growing. I am happy to help encourage healthy habits. Im pet friendly as I love animals. Im eager to get to know you and your family!
