A little bit about me

My name is Kaila I am 17. I go to Camden Hills Regional Highschool and the Midcoast School of Technology for baking and pastry. I have two younger siblings. I volunteered for a child care program at a church for 4 years. While there I watched children ranging from nursery-5 years old typically it was myself and one other person and sometimes we’d have more than 10 kids in a room. We fed them, played, changed diapers or took them to the bathroom and picked up after them. I have also cared for a 9-11 year old child for two years paid. I really enjoy playing with kids. I know how to do the heimlich maneuver and I was taught how to do cpr in school on dummies but I am not cpr certified. I also like to cook and would be willing to clean as well.

A little bit about me

I am a retired teacher who raised twin boys who are now successfully living their own lives and have blessed me with five grandchildren. I am interested in taking care of infants only as I have the patience and understanding of child development and can be an asset to the parents on that level. I am looking for a part-time position that allows for some flexibility in days and times as I may need to go to appointments, which are sometimes out of town.
In addition, my standard starting rate is $25 per hour as I have experience, education, knowledge and expertise that is difficult to find and I assure you that you will not be disappointed.
Thank you for your consideration and I look forward to meeting you to discuss your child and your wants/needs for them.
