I have worked in childcare for over 30 years. I was a infant room teacher for 10 years. I have worked will all ages of children including school age during summer programs. I have also been a childcare director. I went back into the classroom working with children because they were my passion. Being a director was fulfilling but I missed being with the children in the classroom. I feel the first 5 years of a child’s life is the most important. I feel if they begin their lives with love, nurturing, and learning experiences in the beginning it sets them up for a bright future. I feel they need to feel safe, loved, and nurtured.
