Hi! My name is Imani, I’m an experienced nanny recently returned from a year abroad as a kindergarten teacher in Thailand and I’m in search of a nanny position in the Sacramento area. I graduated from SF State in 2018 and in 2019, I left for Zambia to serve in the Peace Corps. I was in Zambia until April 2020, when PCVs were evacuated to the United States. Shortly after lockdown, I began nannying for a family in Sacramento, my hometown. For a little under a year, I cared for their 4 kids; a two year old boy, an eight year old boy and two teenage girls aged 13 and 17. After this family, I nannied for another family in Folsom, where I was responsible for full time care of their 4 year old daughter and complete management of the household. After a lovely year working for them, I moved to Thailand to become a kindergarten English teacher. I had such an amazing time teaching abroad and now that I’ve returned home, I’m seeking another family to provide engaging and fun-loving care for.
