Relevant experience where I also cared for children includes working as a camp counselor, helping care for younger family members, and years of babysitting for families with children of different ages. I’ve always been someone kids naturally feel comfortable around, and I love creating a fun, safe, and supportive environment where they feel cared for and happy.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy a wide range of indoor and outdoor activities with children, including arts and crafts, baking, fort building, nature walks, and scavenger hunts. I have a deep love for being outside and try to incorporate outdoor play as much as possible. I am a naturally creative person who can turn almost anything into a fun and engaging activity, with or without toys, and love keeping children curious, active, and happy.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite part of being a nanny is the bond you form with the children and their family. I naturally connect with kids in a way that makes them feel like my little best friends, and there is nothing better than showing up somewhere you truly love to be. I bring a lot of fun and energy to everything we do, while also knowing when to be calm, firm, and consistent. That balance of friendship and responsibility is something I take a lot of pride in.

My experience with special needs children...

I do have experience caring for children with special needs, including a three year old boy and his one year old sister whom I babysat throughout the summer. He had limited mobility and was nonverbal, with a very busy schedule of daily therapeutic appointments. While I fully supported his care routine, my personal approach was simply to be a bright and joyful presence in his day. I treated him the way I would any other child, with warmth, playfulness, and normalcy, because I believe every child deserves to just feel like a kid.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite memories as a nanny was taking the boys I cared for to the park. The car rides there were always just as fun as the destination itself, with all of us singing along to whatever music they loved at the top of our lungs. Those simple moments of pure joy and connection are exactly why I love what I do.
