Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have experience with children from 3 months to 12 years old. I am the oldest of my brothers so I always took care of them since my parents worked a lot. At the age of 17, I worked as a nanny at weddings taking care of multiple children at the same time. Then I took care of children from two families and I came to the United States as an Au Pair in 2021. Since September 2021, I have been a nanny of a family with two beautiful children that I love a lot! It's beautiful to see them grow every day.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
One of the activities I enjoy the most with children is being in nature, going hiking, going to the park and going swimming. When we have to be inside, my favorites are playing hide-and-seek and art activities, painting, drawing, making collages and crafts. I feel that this stimulates the child's mind a lot.
The most important part about being a nanny...
When I started taking care of the children in the family I am working with a year and a half ago, they didn't know how to speak Spanish. It was a very long process, but it was worth every second. My favorite moment was when they felt comfortable enough to express themselves in Spanish. I am very proud and happy to see them grow so fast and be able to share my culture with them.
