More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have babysat for about 4 years paid, all different ages. I have also volunteered to take care of different age groups in 2019 at a Church, before Covid hit.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Board Games, depending on the age of the child(ren). I also enjoy reading and coloring, even if it’s just scribbles. If it’s a nice day outside, going for a walk is always enjoyable. Depending on the comfortability of the parent(s) and the child(ren) then going to a park also is enjoyable. Mostly, I can enjoy any activity, especially if it’s something that the child(ren) enjoy and want to do or suggest themselves.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Making sure that the child(ren) are happy, having fun, comfortable, safe, and fed. They’re human beings of the next generation that I will be able to interact with due to trust and some sort of relationship with their parents. If I can ease some of the stress that a parent might have during their busy day, or not so busy day, by helping out in even the smallest way, then I will.

My experience with special needs children...

I have not worked with special needs children, but I have worked with special needs adults.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I babysat two twins and another child, all who were 10 years old at the time. We had music playing as we played monopoly in the living room. They all wanted to play and I could tell immediately that all of the children were very competitive. I was the banker and as time went on and one of the twins got board walk, the other twin decided to plot with the other child on how to take down their sibling. I could tell it was all fun and games but reminded the kids gently to not get too rough and rowdy with it as it was just a fun game we were all playing. In the end, the two boys were plotting against the other twin girl as she was winning the whole time. Only for the twin boy to declare bankruptcy at the end and help his sister win, even though she would win anyways. Huge plot twist that I didn’t even expect and we all had a good laugh about it in the end!
