Hi, my name is Aiyana! I have been working professionally with children for over four years. I started as a lifeguard and swim instructor for the city of Mesa, AZ, and went on to work as a swim coach and drama teacher during the off-season. I have experience with children anywhere between 1-15 years of age. I would, however, prefer working with elementary school aged children. I also hold current lifeguard, CPR, autism awareness, and first aid certifications. I have my Redcross Water Safety Instructor licenses as well, so I can work with young ones around the water!

I am able to build great rapport with children and can handle conflicts with ease. I have current lifeguard, autism awareness, CPR, Water Safety Instructor, and first aid certifications. I have worked with children aged 0-17 years of age.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love being around the pool with children, walking, playing board and card games, teaching them how to cook, and introducing games which ignite creativity, confidence, and self growth! I am also able to help young children with basic school work such as mathematics and grammar.

I am autism awareness certified and trained through the city of Mesa, Arizona. I have worked with children in the water and in classrooms who have special needs, and am able to adapt instruction and games to accommodate their individual needs!
