Hello, I'm allencia! I'm 19 years old. I have been babysitting since I was about 13 years old. My God-mother is a foster parent and she'd often ask me to babysit. So I have experience with infants and i'm comfortable at this point with kids of any age. I also babysit in my neighborhood for some extra money and to me it doesn't feel like work since I enjoy the job so much. My free time consist of playing games, watching Disney movies, arts & crafts, and hanging out with friends. Lastly, I love animals. My god mother is a foster parent. So there were kids coming and going. as I got bigger she showed me how to make bottles, change diapers, how to entertain children, etc. I would also watch the kids whenever she would be on an important phone call or went to go pick up dinner. I’m very thankful that she taught me what she did because I absolutely love it.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love going on walks and getting fresh air. I think that’s very important. I love reading and drawing. I also LOVE disney movies. Frozen 2 is my favorite right now. I like to play board games or any kind of games really.

I think the most important part of being a nanny is to love the kids. Also to have lots of fun!

My experience with special needs children...

Growing up, my sister was diagnosed with Autism. She is non-verbal. I adore her. She loves the movie twister! she knows almost every word and she would reenact scenes with me. She is so smart and sweet. I’ve grown to have a lot of patience with not only special needs children but with all children.
