Hello! My name is Alyvia. It is pronounced the same as the traditional way of saying "Olivia" just with "uh" in the beginning. I am a Youth Development Officer for Harris County currently. I have previous experience in being a teachers aid for elementary and middle school age children. I have also worked at a daycare where I was responsible for children whose ages range from 3 months to 14 years. Beyond that I am the second oldest of 10 siblings! I really enjoy working with kids, and I'm exited about the possibility of supporting your family and helping your children thrive.

I typically enjoy creative activities like different arts and crafts, or DIY projects. When the weather permits it I like going to parks or on nature walks. I am drawn to reading so books are also a must!

The most important part of being a nanny for me is safety and security. I take pride not only in creating a safe environment for children, but also in making sure they are comfortable and happy while in my care.

In my current field I work with children whose needs are consistent with those who have been diagnosed with Autism, speech delay and other learning disabilities.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment had to be with a family of three girls. Their mom had allowed me to do their hair one afternoon and after I was done one of them looked up at me and said "Thank you auntie!" This was the most heart felt moment I've ever had! I felt that familial connection without having to be directly related to the children.
