A little bit about me

I ran my own in-home daycare when my children were younger. At one point, I cared for six children ranging in age from 3 months to 5 years old. As part of that role, I kept detailed daily journals for parents, tracking infants' naps, feedings, diaper changes, and other important information about their day.
After that, I spent 15 years teaching preschool, and doing some date night babysitting. (I still sub in the preschool and babysit when I can)
When my oldest child started college in 2024, I transitioned into a more full-time position in a different field, but I truly miss working hands-on with children and helping them learn and grow.

I have experience managing busy schedules, communicating with parents, organizing activities, and creating a safe, nurturing environment for children. I am dependable, organized, and comfortable balancing multiple responsibilities while making sure the children receive attentive, individualized care.
