When I was a nanny in New Zealand, the children and I really loved to explore outdoors. We would go on hikes and explore caves, and spend time at the beach. Once we made a checklist of garbage that we might find at the beach and went and checked off our list. We even came up with a fun song "We Are Environmentalists".
