More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I’ve been working with children for many years and have experience with all ages. My most relevant experience is my current role, where I’ve been caring for a little girl since she was 2 months old—she’s now almost 3. It’s been an amazing journey supporting her development, introducing age-appropriate activities at each milestone, and even implementing bilingual learning. Watching her grow and helping her explore the world has been a very fulfilling experience.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love engaging children in fun and educational activities that support their development. Some of my favorites include outdoor play, arts and crafts, reading stories, sensory activities, and language learning through songs and games. I also enjoy creating age-appropriate learning activities, such as puzzles, pretend play, and hands-on exploration, to keep kids curious and engaged. Most importantly, I tailor activities to each child's interests to make learning and playtime enjoyable!
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and feel supported. It's about building a strong bond with the child and family, understanding their needs, and providing care that fosters trust, development, and happiness. Being a nanny is more than just a job—it's about making a positive impact on a child’s life.
My experience with special needs children...
I have not worked with special needs children and do not have experience in this area. My focus has been on providing care for children in a general childcare setting
The most important part about being a nanny...
One of my favorite nanny moments was teaching the two older children I cared for to speak Portuguese. At first, they were hesitant, but through fun activities, songs, and daily conversations, they started picking up words and eventually became fluent! Seeing their excitement when they could communicate in a new language and proudly use it with their family was such a rewarding experience. Moments like these remind me how special it is to be part of a child's growth and learning journey.
