I have a lot of experience with special needs children and adults. I currently work as a DSP (Direct Support Professional) and work with special needs adults. I have experience managing seizures, administrating medications, and de-escalating and preventing behaviors. I went through MANDT training as well.
The most important part about being a nanny...
One time I had sprained my ankle and was unable to play with my nanny kids as much, I was sitting in the backyard with them watching them play on the trampoline when one of my kids came over with a dandelion and rubbed it on my ankle saying she was using the flowers healing powers to fix my ankle. It’s moments like those I love and cherish so much!!
