Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I have done volunteer work both at my high school and church nursery. I have also carried multiple paid nanny/babysitting jobs in my past experiences as well. I worked in a doctor’s office that cared for children of all ages, sizes, disabilities, etc! I absolutely adored seeing, helping, and learning about these children. Not one had a smile that didn’t light up my day!
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Me and my husband are big outdoor lovers! Some of my favorite activities with bigger children are easy hikes and swimming (I was an avid swimmer/coach for many years) but I’d love to learn to do what keeps your kids active! For littles I normally enjoy a good walk, playground, and just a breath of fresh air.
I’m a bit of a baker and would adore to teach your kids how to make some goodies with me. Arts and crafts are another great option, as well as reading at home, the library, or even heading to the book fair.

The most important part about being a nanny...
As I get closer to have a baby of my own, and growing up as the oldest sibling of 4, the most important thing to me is always making sure the child/children feel cared for in their own special ways. While physical safety is forever a priority and concern of mine, I also strongly believe in the safety the child feels when around others, especially a caregiver. It’s important to me to get to know each of your children, how they give and receive emotions, support, and love, so I can best grasp how to make them feel seen, heard, and understood.
