I’m Mina, I’m 22 years old and an Early Childhood Development and Education student. Part of my career building has given me ample experience as well as my teenage jobs (babysitting, tutoring, nanny)! I come from a huge family (12 kids) and being the third oldest, I’ve pretty much been taking care of kids since birth 😂! I work with all ages, prioritizing: activities, routine, meal prep, cleaning, and HW help! I know a lot of families are looking for someone a little older but hey, I know how to speaking the new lingo! More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I was a tutor and Teacher’s Aide at Bel Air Elementary School in Bay Point, CA and a mentor at Olympic High School in Concord, CA.

I’ve been a baby sitter throughout my teen years, while also being a live-in nanny until last year for a family of a 1 yr old, 7, and 9 yrs old.

Being an early childhood development and education student, I work most days at different schools, with children of all ages!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I was a live in nanny for about three years, and it’s kind of a bitter sweet moment, but still one of my faves, Alison was 1 when I first started working for the family, and her 4th birthday was around the corner at this time. I was going to a new school for an internship program, and so sadly, I had to say goodbye. Alison was mad at me all day no matter what I tried to do or say to comfort her. She didn’t bring up her birthday, not once! Later, I said goodbye. Her birthday party was about two weeks later, and as a surprise I spoke with her parents to make sure it was okay for me to join. I bought a Merida cake (Alison’s fave princess) and when it was time to sing happy birthday, the family and I decided I should be the one to bring the cake. Alison cried so hard when she saw me, she wasn’t even fazed by the huge cake in my hands!! She ran up to me and gave me a hug and she told me she thought I had forgotten about her birthday! It’s a small moment but definitely one of the sweetest
