I have a degree in Early Childhood Education. I was a teacher for 14 years teaching preschool - first grade. While teaching I had various babysitting jobs. The last 4 years I have worked as a nanny. "Amy was our nanny for 1/2022-12/2022 and only stopped because I went on maternity leave again. My daughter absolutely loved seeing Amy everyday. She was at our house M-F 8:45-5:30 everyday. She was extremely flexible on days we needed her to work longer hours. Amy is very dependable and responsible as well caring and crafty! She set up lots of fun activities for my daughter to participate in. She followed all our requests for my daughters schedule and food requests and also helped her meet her milestones ( eating, talking, crawling and walking). Amy also cleaned all the babies dishes/ bottles and put all toys and activities away at the end of each day. I would recommended Amy to anyone looking for a nanny. More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I taught preschool, pre-k, kindergarten, and first grade for 14 years. After my daughter(4) was born I began nannying and taking her with me to work. It has been a great experience for the families and my daughter. With my preschool experience I am now teaching my daughter mini lessons throughout the day. She just finished learning her letter sounds and is beginning to sound out words. She also has a very strong sense of numbers, enjoys doing science experiments, and exploring hands on sensory table set ups! I can do that for your child too. I also have a 2 year old who enjoys painting and coloring (with assistance of course). I love outside time too, no matter the temperature! If you'd like your child to be able to stay home, but you would like to socialize and educate them on a smaller scale than daycare can provide, I’m the nanny for you! I am currently teaching preschool but would love a nanny position for the summer!
