The most important part about being a nanny is having patience and understanding—every kid is different, and it’s important to meet them where they’re at. It’s also about making them feel safe, loved, and like they can just be themselves around you.
My experience with special needs children...
I have worked with children with autism on many occasions, and I absolutely love it! I don't have any experience with watching children with other special needs, but I am willing and eager to learn more about it if needed!
The most important part about being a nanny...
I'm not sure if I could choose! Working at a summer camp you have A LOT of funny stories. But my favorite always come down to the sweet moments of laughter or joy with the kids!
