Activities I enjoy doing with children...
This is up to the kids! I can adapt to everything as I have experience with boys, girls, and babies. We can do crafts, play Lego, play sports, watch Pokemon, go to the park, go to the library, read some books, maybe sing! Any activity that will have a benefit for the kid.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Is to be part of an important life stage of the kid, help them develop skills that will need in the future such as communication, and emotional intelligence. Being part of the life of a kid is a privilege, they're the future.
My experience with special needs children...
In high school, I was a swimming coach for children from 3-6 years old with special needs. Although we had a senior coach in the class, I had to be trusted by the kids and the parents, which I did.
Nowadays, I’m working at my university (not many hours a week) on a project called IAC which stands for Increasing Access to College. I work directly with care providers and young adults with disabilities in creating different strategies so they can go to college. These strategies don’t only affect the students, but the professors, the care providers, the parents, and the community.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I remember we had a full day of activities and I thought she was getting bored at the end of the day, so I tried my best to cheer her up. We got home and she told me “this was literally the best day of my life”. My heart smiled.
