More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

I have several years of experience working with children of various ages. I have taught kindergarten for two years at a charter school, where I was responsible for creating engaging lessons, supporting students’ academic and social development, and maintaining a positive classroom environment. I have also worked in multiple daycare settings, gaining hands-on experience with daily routines, age-appropriate activities, and childcare responsibilities.
In addition, I began babysitting as a teenager, caring for family members, including infants. Through these experiences, I have developed strong skills in supervision, communication, and providing consistent, attentive care.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I enjoy spending time with children in active and creative ways. Some of my favorite activities include going on walks, bike rides, and trips to the park, as well as doing arts and crafts and playing sports. I love helping children explore, learn, and have fun in safe, engaging ways.

The most important part about being a nanny...

I believe the most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, supportive, and nurturing environment where children feel cared for and encouraged to learn and grow. This includes being patient, attentive, and engaging with each child in ways that meet their unique needs and interests.

My experience with special needs children...

My experience working with children with special needs includes supporting students with developmental delays, autism, and other diverse learning needs. I have used visuals, hands-on resources, and scheduled breaks to help children stay engaged and comfortable. These experiences have strengthened my patience, adaptability, and ability to create a supportive, encouraging environment where every child can thrive.

The most important part about being a nanny...

My favorite nanny moment was when a child I cared for finally learned to put their shoes on the right feet. Seeing their pride and excitement in mastering something new reminded me how meaningful everyday achievements can be for children.
