For three years I was as Summer Teacher at the Annual California Teacher’s Association (CTA) in San Jose, CA. CTA Teachers involved students from Pre-K to 12th grade in age-appropriate learning/fun/competitive games, breakfast/lunch and to field trips. In Summer 2009, (through AmeriCorps) I interned at the Sacred Heart Community Center in San Jose, CA as a teacher in the Education Dept. and I also coordinated/managed the summer lunch program for the students attending the SCHS Summer Program. Both experiences enriched my life.
