Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
Most has been my family trusting me to take care of their kids starting at a young age. And the one family i was a nanny for just so she could get aline time and things done amd the other family I watched mostly at night sonthe parent could get out and I don't do much so they knew they could ask anytime, but I met both families just through serving them at the resturants I worked at and they liked me and trusted me enough o watch their kids.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
Games, learning or not. Weather permitted outdoor activities such as park. I love to help if you have lesson plans. Arts and crafts are definitely a go to all the time. Supporting their creativity and interests and helping to figure things out.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The gratification of helping the family and kids that could use it. Not everyone wants to have their own but still love and care about other people and kids so much. I know people can't always do it on their own and now a days it normally take a two person income to survive, I want to help them do more than survive!!
My experience with special needs children...
I do not have much, the little I do is from work in customer service such as serving them. I worked at a small dinner and every once in awhile an amazing kind young lady that care for a few special needs kids would bring them in because she knew they would have a good time. I remember one specific time this boy was singing lion king, I sang with him and he was shy at first but opened up. They are just like everyone else, everyone's different and you can't treat everyone the same way.
The most important part about being a nanny...
Getting the opportunities to be apart of the kids and families life's. Watching them grow and being able to help either while the parents are at work or just need time together. For the kids it's the experiences and things I can teach them and they teach me.

2025. I will then attend a program at Grace College in fall of 2025 to become a child life specialist but majoring in psychology. I have a beautiful 21-month-old that has been going to work with me due to not having consistent available childcare for her through family and hasn't been able to cope being without me for long period times so considering having her come with me would be amazing. I have been a cheer coach for ages 4-17 for 2 years. I have a pretty flexible schedule but do have appointments that are scheduled in advanced. Can't wait to work with your family!
