A little bit about me

Hi! My name is Anna & I’m a singer/songwriter born and raised in Minneapolis. My first experience working with children was as a youth soccer coach, for boys aged 7-10. After some time working in restaurants, I went on to return to child care for around 2 years at a childcare center. I am now employed at another childcare center but, I’m looking to shift my focus to one family in hopes of that change allowing for more space for me to record my music. I think I’d be a great addition to any size family. I have an endless amount of love for children as individuals & I think my care for your children will show that!

The most important part about being a nanny...

The 1 on 1 care I’m able to provide for a family. With my experience in childcare centers, I think my approach to teaching and caring for children would be much more suited in an environment that requires one on one care.

My experience with special needs children...

I’ve worked with children with autism, Down syndrome, and selective mutism! I’ve always had a desire to make everyone feel seen so I’ve always found a special connection with the children who have special needs at the centers I’ve worked at.

The most important part about being a nanny...

Not super specific because I’ve had many of these moments, but once I experience a child being excited to see me after we’ve gotten to know each other, I could never forget the feeling. I always hope the excitement is because they know that they will not only have fun, they will learn through curiosity, and feel my love through my support & teaching.
