My name is Ashby Brenner and I've been working with small children in a professional classroom setting for 9 years. I have 23 years experience overall, working with children from infancy to pre-teen years. I am CPR and First Aid certified. My background is in Reggio Emilia philosophy, with experience in Conscious Discipline. I am currently working on achieving my Positive Discipline certification.

I believe in kind, firm, and clear boundaries. Natural consequences are our best teachers; I do not practice punishment in any form. I find joy in creating intentional invitations for children, often using nature and the outside world to spark curiosity. I take a child-led approach to learning. I love to see what they are interested in and work that into our day. Schematic play, imaginative play, outdoor exploration, and process-art are foundational to academic growth. I genuinely love spending time with children and find so much joy in their wonder and awe of the world around them.
