With over 10 years of professional childcare experience, I’ve found immense joy in nurturing and guiding children as they grow. I’ve cared for my niece since she came home from the NICU and have worked with four wonderful families, caring for children from 2 months to 10 years old. I also have experience supporting children with learning disabilities and always strive to provide patient, compassionate care. Along with my professional experience, I volunteered at both my elementary and middle schools, giving me even more hands-on experience working with children in a structured environment, where I enjoyed assisting with children and supporting teachers in creating a positive learning environment.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

Some of my favorite activities with children include spending time outdoors, exploring new things, and creating engaging learning experiences. I love planning activities that encourage creativity, build confidence, support healthy brain development, promote kindness, and strengthen social and emotional development in a positive, nurturing environment.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What matters most to me is supporting families in any way I can and being someone they can truly rely on. I understand that balancing work, parenting, and everyday responsibilities can be overwhelming, and having dependable childcare can make all the difference. Being able to support families, ease some of that stress, and provide a safe, loving environment for their children is why I’m so passionate about what I do.

My experience with special needs children...

Since I was 13, I’ve had the opportunity to care for children with diverse needs, including two boys with special needs, ages 7 and 10. I always focused on creating a fun, safe, and engaging environment where they felt comfortable and supported. I also cared for a 4-year-old on the autism spectrum who displayed aggressive behaviors, which strengthened my patience, understanding, and ability to remain calm while providing compassionate, consistent care.

The most important part about being a nanny...

One of my favorite nanny moments was watching a little girl I cared for grow from a baby who couldn’t walk into a confident little girl taking her first steps. Being there to witness such a special milestone was incredibly memorable and special, and now she’s already 4 years old and turning 5 soon! Moments like that are what make childcare so meaningful to me.
