More About Me

Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...

A time that I cared for multiple children was at my Church, Trinity Episcopal! I helped to lead the children's bible study! I really enjoyed helping younger kids connect to their faith, while still letting it be their own journey!
Another experience that I really valued was when I was a student-teacher at Pike high school! While I was there I assisted in teaching AP Music Theory as well as directing multiple choirs! This was a great way for me to experience handling situations with an older group of minors!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love picnics! I absolutely adore arts and crafts as well as reading fun books!
When I was younger I loved to play hide and seek as well!
More than anything, I am more than happy to participate in anything that the child is passionate about!

The most important part about being a nanny...

To me, the most important part of being a nanny is being reliable, and loving.
I understand that a family choosing me to become a nanny is them placing trust in me to care for and look out for their children just as they would. This is something that I know I can do.
I am proud of the way that I dedicate myself to everything I do, and I take people's trust very seriously. I am a woman of honesty, consistency, and kindness. I know I would make a wonderful nanny to your child!

My experience with special needs children...

My experience with Special needs children actually began in middle school when I was Co-Chair of Best Buddies! I continued in the wonderful organization throughout high school and made lifelong buddies!

In terms of babysitting and caring for a child with special needs, a close family friend of mine has a son who is on the autism spectrum. I have had a lot of experience with him and have been lucky enough to get to know how to be a support and person of comfort to him!

This is something that I am confidently able to do for other special needs children as well!

The most important part about being a nanny...

I think a really sweet moment with a child that I used to babysit would be when we tried to communicate by blowing bubbles in our water! it was like we made a secret language! I love making memories with any child and doing things that bring a smile to their face!
