My name is Ava, and I will be a senior at Legend High School in Parker this upcoming school year. I have a strong passion for working with children of all age groups, but I especially enjoy spending time with toddlers. I previously worked at Children’s Lighthouse, a daycare located in Parker, for eight months. During my time there, I gained invaluable experience and developed important skills such as responsibility, patience, communication, and adaptability. Each day, I was responsible for supervising a room of 14 toddlers on my own for over three hours at a time. While I eventually had to step away from the position due to my commitment to school sports, the experience taught me so much about caring for young children and confirmed how much I enjoy working with them.
