I am a 21 year old young woman who loves children. I am also a parent myself to a 2 year old little girl. I have not only nannied children I have worked with kids for about 3 years. Taking care of children is a passion that I have because I love to see the smile on their faces whenever I am around them. I treat all children as if they were my own, I love to teach them new skills, play with them, help them with any problems they may come across, build a relationship with them and just talk to the child if they will have a conversation with you because you never know the impact you may have on a persons life just by having a conversation.

I have worked at a boys & girls club as well as a summer camp for multiple years with all different age groups of children. I loved created games with them, teaching them new songs, helping them learn about different parts of the world.

I love to cook & bake with children. I also love to come up with little projects, watch children movies and just bond.

The most important part about being a nanny...

What I learned from being a parent is To always listen to the child, children have a unique way of communicating and if you sit back and just pay attention to a child you will easily understand their wants and needs. You should always be calm as well, offer encouraging & uplifting words when they are doing good & also give calm understanding redirection as well as choices when a child may be in the wrong. You should never make the child afraid when they are wrong, in my opinion the best thing to do is offer a child 2 or 3 different options #1 being a choice of redirection #2 being a change of environment or task at hand & #3 may resort to a break to catch his/her breath & regroup themselves.
