Reading to them, doing crafts with them, playing card games, board games, running games, you name it - I love playing with children! Coming up with new games together can be fun too. I have a seven year old cousin I play with and one of his favorite games is pretending he's a policeman and putting me in jail! I also enjoy taking walks with children, drawing pictures with them, telling them stories...and the list goes on.

The most important thing is to care for the children the way their parents want them to be cared for - which means listening to what the parents want, and being willing to learn and adapt. Another really important thing is to make sure the children are safe - and after their safety is taken care of, helping them stay happily occupied is the thing to focus on.
