More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
With over four years of hands-on childcare experience, I am dedicated to creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children. My background includes nannying for ages 3 months to 12 years old and professional roles at Little Stars Daycare and BedRock Preschool, where I supported children. I believe in fostering creativity and exploration through interactive games and educational projects. At Little Stars, I ensured children's comfort and well-being, engaged them in educational activities, and maintained a clean, stimulating environment.
At BedRock Preschool, I led circle time, organized arts and crafts, and facilitated age-appropriate learning games. I communicated regularly with parents about their child’s progress while promoting physical activity through outings. My certifications include CPR, First Aid, and training in child safety and development, equipping me to provide the best care for children while fostering their growth and happiness.

Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I engage them in arts and crafts using paper, paint, and various materials to create themed projects. I love organizing outdoor games like scavenger hunts, tag, or obstacle courses in the park. During story time, I read books together and discuss the stories, or we create our own tales by taking turns adding sentences. I also involve them in cooking or baking simple recipes, such as cookies or homemade pizza. We conduct easy science experiments, like making a volcano with baking soda and vinegar. Teaching them about plants through gardening is another favorite, and I often host dance parties with music and freeze dance games. We enjoy age-appropriate board games or puzzles, and I take them on nature walks to explore local parks while collecting leaves or observing wildlife. Lastly, I encourage building projects with blocks, Legos, or recycled materials. These activities foster creativity, learning, and physical activity, ensuring a fun and engaging experience for everyone.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is building a strong, trusting relationship with the children in my care. This connection fosters a sense of security, allowing kids to feel comfortable exploring, learning, and expressing themselves. It’s essential to create an environment where they know they are safe, valued, and understood.
By actively engaging with them through play, listening, and showing empathy, I can support their emotional and developmental growth. This role is not just about supervising; it’s about nurturing their curiosity, guiding them through challenges, and celebrating their achievements. I strive to be a positive influence in their lives, helping them develop confidence and resilience.
Ultimately, being a nanny means creating joyful memories while ensuring that each child feels loved and supported. Watching them grow and thrive is incredibly rewarding, and knowing I play a part in their journey is what makes this role so meaningful to me.

The most important part about being a nanny...
I will never forget witnessing a child take their first steps. We were playing in the living room, surrounded by colorful toys. The little one had been crawling confidently, but today felt different. As they pulled themselves up, I could see the determination in their eyes.
With a gentle wobble, they let go of the couch and took that first brave step. My heart raced as I cheered them on, filled with excitement. With each step, their smile grew wider, and soon they were giggling as they stumbled toward me.
That moment of pure joy and triumph was magical, reminding me of the incredible milestones in childhood. I felt so grateful to be there, celebrating such a significant achievement together. It was a beautiful reminder of how small moments can create lasting memories.
