Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
I worked as a babysitter and house cleaner for a few families back when I was in Florida for college! Kiddos were usually between 6 and 12, but I have experience with all ages through babysitting for family and friends.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I love crafting and I love helping kids with their love of crafts as well! But mostly I let the kids tell me what they like the best and I do what I can to make days fun based on what they like to do.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The point of a nanny, in my opinion, is to keep kids safe and cared for while the parent or parents are out of the house. A kid's whole life is based around the house they live in and it's my job to make sure they feel safe and happy while keeping up with their usual schedules to make things easier for the grown-ups.
My experience with special needs children...
I don't have much experience with children who have special needs. I did, though, work as a TA for a high school in Florida so I'm quite patient and a great listener.
The most important part about being a nanny...
I've had a few of my baby cousins call me "Mama 2" and "Aunty Momma", which always made me smile.
