A little bit about me

Hi, my name is Brooke. I am a mother to 7 children (4 of whom I homeschooled) and 15 grandchildren. I have not only raised my own children and cared for my grandchildren as needed, but I have also cared for children as a nanny/babysitter; I worked in the public school system in California in the special Education department; I taught English in schools in China for three years to children ages 5-18 ( I am not bilingual however); most recently, and currently, I have worked as an in-home care provider for seniors in Cental Oregon (where I currently reside.)
I am energetic, creative and fun. I love to incorporate fun lessons into everyday life. (Like planting a garden, or singing a song in Chinese, or the alphabet in sign language!) I am very active and I love to spend time outdoors. (The past four summers I have spent backpacking the Pacific Crest Trail.) My CPR certification is up to date.
