I am a mother of a beautiful daughter. I waited till later in life to have a child. I am also a drug and alcohol counselor (not currently practicing) with my specialty being adolescents, many dually diagnosed with addiction and mental health issues. I firmly believe that it takes a village to raise a child and I am forever grateful for the village!
I respect that there are a number of ways to raise children and each parent (or parents) should be given respect for their own unique choice and style.
I love kids. They are our future. They deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
I have experienced many things in life, good and bad. I choose to learn and grow from all experiences.
