I have coached for Cardinal Ritter High School softball for a year as well as have done some volunteer work while I was in school to help with the elementary kids!

Activities I enjoy doing with children...

I love to be outdoors as much as possible as well as willing to do some light grocery shopping. Grocery shopping and other Department stores help kids learn more and see what things are. They can learn and see so much in their books and stories but to see things in person helps them so much! The outdoors is the best way to get kids moving and learn balance and new motor skills; especially parks and hikes!

The most important part about being a nanny...

Is to make sure that each and every kids is getting the car and attention that they are needing and to help guide them to explore and learn. I love to always thrown in learning experiences as small as fine motor skills and drawing to even making crafts or going outside and doing a whole nature learning event.

The most important part about being a nanny...

It was a recent memory that I will continue to remember because I know as a kid it took me forever and my dad would just keep pushing me to try and I was the same with the little 4 year old I was caring for. She had just turned 4 and had been in a balance bike for 2 years and for her birthday she got a pedal bike and did not want the training wheels. She was so determined to be able to do it on her own and get this pedaling thing down. We would try everyday she was with me which came to a total of 4 days and we had her pedaling. When she did it all by herself we both were cheering and screaming and people who were taking prom pictures were just staring at us. She was screaming “I did it, I did it!” and I was so happy for her and just loved that moment for us.
