More About Me
Relevant experience where I also cared for children were...
i have experience working with children from newborns to 12 years old in a variety of childcare settings. I worked at Primrose Private School, where I cared for and supported preschool-aged children through educational activities, daily routines, and social development. At the YMCA, I provided care for newborns and infants, ensuring their safety, comfort, and developmental needs were met. I also worked in a daycare setting with children ages 1–5, assisting with learning activities, meal times, and age-appropriate play. Additionally, I served as a summer camp counselor for children ages 5–12, supervising groups, leading activities, and creating a fun and engaging environment while maintaining safety and positive behavior. These experiences have helped me develop strong skills in childcare, communication, patience, and creating nurturing environments for children of all ages.
Activities I enjoy doing with children...
I enjoy engaging children in fun, educational, and creative activities that support their growth and development. Some of my favorite activities include arts and crafts, reading books, outdoor play, sensory activities, educational games, music and dancing, imaginative play, and age-appropriate learning activities. I also enjoy helping children develop social skills, encouraging creativity, and creating a positive environment where they feel safe, confident, and excited to learn. For older children, I enjoy assisting with homework, organizing games, and participating in sports and recreational activities.
The most important part about being a nanny...
The most important part of being a nanny is creating a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where children feel loved, valued, and comfortable being themselves. Building trust with both the children and their parents is essential. A great nanny not only ensures a child’s safety and well-being but also encourages their growth, learning, and confidence through patience, consistency, and positive interactions.
The most important part about being a nanny...
My favorite nanny moment was seeing a shy child gradually come out of their shell and become more confident. Over time, they became comfortable expressing themselves, participating in activities, and building friendships. Knowing I helped create a safe and supportive environment for that growth was very meaningful to me.
