My experience with special needs children...
My cousin is mentally ill..my nephew is autistic..a few children I have baby-sat for are autistic..really I don't treat these children any different..they get bonus love and one on one attention too..all children are special in their own way..
The most important part about being a nanny...
The three yr old autistic boy I was a nanny for Grayson would come over and I taught him high five and to say mom ..I was super proud and so was mom..he was nin verbal and very aggressive at first but with patience and time i learned everything he enjoyed all of the kids actually
